Returns Policy
Can the delivered products be returned?
Users may cancel the purchase without the need to justify their decision by withdrawing from the contract. The return of the Product can be requested by sending an email to: info@sibaritasibericos.es, indicating the order reference and user contact information.
Through the same means, the user will receive a response indicating the steps to follow in the process of cancelling the purchase. The maximum period to exercise the right of withdrawal is 14 calendar days from the date the order was delivered.
As with any physical or online purchase, in order to accept any return and/or withdrawal, it is necessary for the product to retain its original labeling. In our case, it is essential that:
- In the case of ham or shoulder, the piece must have its intact seal or inviolable band of the ibérico quality standard, which is the only means of identifying the piece.
- In the case of sliced products or cured meats, they must remain with their original labeling and packaging. Before refunding any amount to the user, they must return the purchased products in perfect condition (not damaged, soiled, or opened), properly protected, with their labeling and original packaging.
Before returning the Product, the User must ensure that it is properly protected and sealed to prevent any damage during transportation. SIBARITAS IBÉRICO’S reserves the right to charge the costs incurred if the product is not in perfect condition.
Once the returned Products are received and after verifying that they still have the intact bridle/seal or labeling and are in good condition, the corresponding refund for the returned units will be processed. The refund will be made by crediting the card used for the payment or by bank transfer to the bank account provided by the user.
The return shipping costs that may be charged to the User will depend on the nature of each Product and the means used for its shipment.
In case of returns due to: – Excessive fat covering – Product being under or over cured – Excessive salt
Initially, you should send us some photographs to the email info@sibaritasibericos.es where the piece, the cut, and the fat can be clearly seen. If the product cannot be properly evaluated through images, we will proceed to pick up the item at the customer’s address at their own expense.
Once we receive the product, our expert ham specialists will evaluate it based on industry standards. If they determine that the product meets the standards for its category, we will proceed with returning the product to the customer’s address at their own expense.
If they confirm that the product has any of the mentioned irregularities, we will offer the user one of the following two options: either a free replacement of the same product, or a full refund of the amount paid by the user.
The right of withdrawal will not apply when, due to the nature of the Products purchased, it is impossible to carry it out, without prejudice to the corresponding claim for damages suffered, including, specifically:
(i) Products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized for them;
(ii) Products that have expired within the withdrawal period;
(iii) Products that are not in perfect condition
(iv) Products that have been consumed in an amount exceeding 10% of their original weight, as indicated on the product label.
